2013-05-28_1043Once Upon a Time returns to Seven next week, picking up with Episode 10 (second season episodes played over summer in case you’d forgotten).

It’s back at 9:15pm Thursday June 6th with a double episode.

“The Cricket Game / The Outsider”
Regina is accused of murdering one of the town’s most beloved fairytale characters – but only Emma senses that she may be innocent. Meanwhile, back in the fairytale land that was, after capturing the Evil Queen, Snow White and Prince Charming set about planning her public execution in order to rid the land of her murderous tyranny. Then, Mr. Gold finds an unwilling test subject to see if a spell he has concocted will allow him to cross the border of Storybrooke – without losing his memory – and go in search of his son, Bae.

  1. I would imagine most of the fans of this show have downloaded it from the net because they have been waiting so long for it. It’s been ages since I watched it last on Seven, that I have lost the passion for it. And whats with all the TBA programming on my EPG for channel 7 shows? Are they keeping everything secret till the last minute? Speaking of which, didn’t I see promos for Squizzy like six months ago saying coming soon. I was looking forward to that too. Got all excited and now am over it as it has taken so long for it to get to air. Any ETA on that show???

  2. hmm odd time, & not good for younger viewers, but at least they are airing it which is better than not doing it! Especially for those of us who do the right thing & don’t just watch it online (not that I don’t know some of the things that happen & haven’t seen clips on YouTube from episodes that haven’t aired here)

  3. Once Upon A Times’s ratings had already dropped below 800k before the @l^mp!cs. So they used the rest of the season as counter programming during the games, quite successfully and did much better than Ten which lost most of its viewers.

The first block of S2 they showed over summer because the show doesn’t rate that highly.

Seven are now putting on shows in late night slots to close the gap with Nine in the consolidated ratings (while holding back some Bones and Castle eps). So people get a chance to see the rest of S2 now. The alternative would probably be OUAT stripped in summer.

  4. Once was rating decently last year, then lost its audience amidst Seven’s erratic scheduling during the Olympics and then again over summer. Its a shame quality drama as such airs so late while rubbish like House Rules and Celebrity Splash dominate early evening timeslots. I doubt many will tune in for this – I expect most have either given up or gone online.

  5. Sorry ch7 you waited too long, seem the rest of the season else where a few weeks ago.

Plus double eps is no way to treat this show, ending after 11pm, probably closer to 11:30. I’m betting loads of fans will just PVR the 2nd ep and watch it later.

  6. I think this show has suffered like many poor programming decisions that 7 have made. Recent double eps of Greys, late slot for Private Practice and Happy Endings along with other perennial faves like Arrested Development (which I haven’t never seen due to its late start and not knowing how ‘good’ it was! And then I think about the poor treatment of Revenge with late starting times, the death of City Homicide and All Saints due to similar issues already raised above!
    They have no idea!!

  7. Seven continue to hold this show off, then when they finally play it’s double or multiple episodes per week. So annoying, we know you don’t really want the show, seven.

  8. I love this show and definitely will be watching but this would have to be the worst timeslot decision of the year by any network! Why put a family-oriented show that fits the PG mandatory 7:30pm slot at 9:15pm when the target audience is in bed? Overnight figures are going to be terrible but I’m betting consolidated figures would be about double.

  9. Its a show aimed at young girls and a family audience so why not put it on Saturday or Sunday at 6.30. Wasted as it will finish about 11.30 on a school night.
