On the Queen’s Birthday Holiday Monday, June 10, there will be a complete day of Royal Family programming.

A Right Royal Year
Sunday June 2 at 8:30pm
A Right Royal Year takes a look back at what a memorable year the Diamond Jubilee was for the Royal Family in 2012, particularly as it coincided with the London Olympic Games.

In 2011, Prince William’s Wedding to Kate Middleton rekindled the romance between the public and the British royal family. But as the following year loomed a combination of unexpected elements made 2012 a stand out for the Royal Family both personally and publicly, culminating with the exciting news that Princess Kate was pregnant with a Royal Baby expected in July 2013.

This Australian Premiere documentary talks to those who know the royal family intimately, including former MP Ann Widdecombe, Princess Diana’s private secretary Patrick Jephson, the pageant master of the jubilee flotilla Adrian Evans, royal correspondent Robert Jobson and social Historian Dominic Sandbroke. Only on Bio Sunday June 2 at 8.30pm.

Sunday, June 9 at 8.30pm: The 100th anniversary of the Royal Variety Performance presents a stellar cast that includes Robbie Williams, Neil Diamond, Rod Stewart, Kylie Minogue and Alicia Keys.

Sunday, June 16 at 8.30pm: Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry join the Queen’s closest companions in a rare and intimate account of Queen Elizabeth, the woman beneath the crown.

Elizabeth – The Diplomat Queen
Sunday, June 23 at 8.30pm: Through interviews with historians and guests, ambassadors, royals and palace staff, this documentary focuses on the significance of the great state banquets of the last sixty years.

Changing Face of… The Queen
Sunday, June 30 at 8.30pm: This is a celebrity biography series that tells the incredible stories of those A-listers whose careers have endured across the decades.

The Queen’s Birthday Public Holiday programming on June 10 begins at 8.55am with A Royal Year to Remember, followed by The Royal Collection series starting with Making of a Queen, Memories of a Queen, Princess Margaret and lastly, The Queen Mother. At 1.35pm Bio will screen an encore of The Royal Variety Performance 2012 followed by the encore of A Right Royal Year at 4.05pm.
