  1. bettestreep2008

With all due respect, MCA – Masterclass never rated very well.

It is basically a cooking show like Jamie Oliver’s 15 minute meals.

I watched some of it and it’s the sort of show you record and watch when you can write down all the instructions and helpful hints.

I learnt a few new things about pasta and that’s a good thing in my books.

  2. The ABC deciding to set Clarke and Dawe free from 7:30 certainly has paid dividends, No 12 and 563,000 which it seems to get around that every week (3 mins of good ratings).

  3. I don’t think you can count house rules numbers on Wednesday and Thursday together. Viewing numbers are lower on a Thursday if The Block was on Wednesday in some states like House Rules was then that would be fair to make that statement.

  4. Wonder if the Block will change their format next year given how House Rules are now beating them every night (combining Wednesday and Thursday for today’s figure)

  5. Super glad to see that Wonders of Life rated well. However, I have a niggling suspicion that many viewers of TV do just that, view, without really listening. Because if they do actually listen then the last 5-10 minutes of this program should have lit up the local blogosphere.

Professor Brian Cox has a great style that compels attention. Wish that I had a poofteenth of his intellect so I could better understand.

  6. @randwick. I loved SVU’s finale – what a cliffhanger !! but i agree with your comments that 10 did an awful job in the way it cut straight to offspring without letting the viewer digest what they had just seen.

  7. Added to the woeful results for Masterchef – a poor reality program which you have managed to foul up along with the rest of your poor content – you managed to butcher the ending of SVU last night by not even telling the audience that the 2nd part will be in the next season – you went straight into Offspring…. you called it an encore but that is just spin for “repeat”……… no commentary, nothing ….

How do you expect to keep an audience if you keep on butchering the programs that you have managed to keep a loyal audience too?

  8. Another awful result for Masterchef – 49,000 in Brisbane is appalling. I did watch some of it last night and it was pretty dull. Everyone carries on like they’re curing cancer but all they’re doing is cooking.

  9. so House Rules was split in to two nights in various cities but add up to about 1.2 million…correct David ?
Yay Miniscule….my favourite show in the top 20…lol

  10. how embarrasing for channel 7 news melbourne where jennifer keyte is outside of parliament house for an extended hour rehashing stuff we already know whereas the other networks clearly had (and quite rightly) moved on.

  11. Good to see that House Rules combined viewers from Wed and Thurs beat the Block again 1.205 million over Thurs 1.162 🙂
Seems Renovation and now gardens is better than reports I have read of Laundry and tomatoes and chest touching!
