Boys lead The Voice

Harrison, Luke, Danny and Celia will battle it out for the title of The Voice in 2013.

2013-06-10_2000Boys rule this year on The Voice with just one female, Celia Pavey, set to compete for the 2013 title.

The final 8 last night battled for the last 4 places which stacked up as follows:

Celia Pavey represents Team Delta after Steve Clisby was eliminated.

Harrison Craig will sing for Team Seal after Mitchell Anderson lost out.

Danny Ross competes for Team Joel after Kiyomi Vella was sent packing.

And Luke Kennedy represents Team Ricky after Miss Murphy was eliminated.

All four finalists returned to perform an original song in their bid for the title.

Final audience votes will be announced in the Grand Final next Monday night on Nine with performances by Robin Thicke and OneRepublic.

  1. I actually reckon Miss Murphy and Luke Kennedy are both good – I can’t pick which one I prefer. The others, however, not the biggest fan: Danny Ross has absolutely nothing on Kiyomi and while Celia is more likeable, Steve has the better voice.

  2. A lot happier this year than last year, as I like three of the final four and none of last years final four really interested me. I would have picked Miss Murphy to be in the final along with Harrison, Celia and Danny.

  3. I agree, GrumpyDyke (great name by the way 🙂 )
It was a no brainer with Celia and Harrison, although Celia was not in top form last night; Kyomi and Danny could have gone either way, and I thought Miss Murphy would prevail, but she has the goods – what an amazing voice and so elusive in a cool sort of way.

  4. As far as the better voice, performance and ability of selling albums is concerned, Miss Murphy will prove to be the artist that ‘should have won’. Can’t wait to buy her first album.
