Former rugby union captain John Eales is the latest addition to TEN’s commentary team for the British & Irish Lions Rugby Tour.

John EalesFormer rugby union captain John Eales is the latest addition to TEN’s commentary team for the British & Irish Lions Rugby Tour.

He follows on from Gordon Bray, Matt Burke, and Stirling Mortlock joining the network’s sports commentators.

Having captained his country 55 times, Eales holds the record as the highest-scoring forward for the Queensland Reds, is the most successful Wallabies Captain in Australian history, and is one of only a very select group of players to have won the Rugby World Cup twice.

TEN’s  British & Irish Lions Rugby Tour kicks off this Saturday, June 22nd.

  1. Yeah Bill Woods got the sack when that change happend of out with the old in with the new. Now they seem to be going back to the old that worked. John Eales is a good signing. Lachlan needs to be booted of the board has not added a single shred of positivity and benefit to TEN, he has only caused instability.
