SKY News adds Friday Night Live edition

SKY News political contributor Chris Kenny will front a new Friday night news programme, discussing the week that was.

2013-06-25_2218SKY News political contributor Chris Kenny will front a new Friday night news programme, Friday Night Live.

To be joined each week by a panel of guests discussing the week that was, it will air at 9pm on SKY News channel.

“Regular viewers of Paul Murray Live will recognise the lively, informative and interactive style that Paul delivers from Sunday to Thursday at 9pm,” he said.

“At the end of a busy week, I plan to provide a program that’ll be just perfect to sit back and chew over the good things and bad things, the serious news and nonsense that have filled our week, with some great guests.”

Replacing Chris as anchor of Saturday Agenda will be SKY NEWS political reporter David Lipson and other members of the SKY News Canberra team. As Election 2013 draws closer Saturday Agenda will be broadcast direct from Parliament House with the latest political news as it breaks.

SKY News’ unrivalled Live coverage of politics plays a pivotal role in the national debate as September 14 approaches.

Friday Night LIVE begins Friday July 5 at 9pm on SKY News National, channel 601

Saturday Agenda is on air at 8.30am on SKY News National, channel 601.

  1. Thats all we need another liberal party member hosting another talk show on sky news . Seriously what is it with this pay tv news channel. So seriously biased .they should change the name to SKYLNPNEWS. Your a news channel give news from around the world and stop these stupid talk shows. thank god for ABCnews24.

  2. The need to rebrand this channel as the sky talk channel. It is now pretty much just chat shows between 7 and 12 each night. They need a proper news channel like the old sky news. Bring back John Mangos and the old sky news please.
