TEN grabs third place from ABC, Nine wins the week.

Ratings week: TEN has finally snatched third place back from the ABC, but the week belonged to Nine.

2013-06-09_1857TEN has finally grabbed third place back from the ABC, thanks to MasterChef, NCIS and Offspring.

It’s the first time the network has edged ahead of the public broadcaster since January, and the first time in survey since last August (they tied once last October). It took three of its favourite shows in the one week to avoid ongoing humiliation. It was a dead heat in the primary channels.

But the week belonged to Nine, thanks in no small part to State of Origin, which averaged a knockout 2.44m viewers for the Match and settles as one of the highest rated shows of the year.
