I missed this rather fab moment at the Tony Awards on Monday.
But check out these Broadway stars who have all had TV shows cancelled:
Andrew Rannells (The New Normal),
Megan Hilty (Smash),
and Laura Benanti (Go On, The Playboy Club).
Joining them is host Neil Patrick Harris from the happily long-running How I Met Your Mother. Just sayin’….

Great moment, now I’m wondering if they will get payback at the next Emmys.
I agree Go On should not have been canceled.
Neil Patrick Harris was simply superb. His every spot was perfectly executed, and he deserved that lnog standing o after his opening number. Shades of Billy Crystal with the recurring MikeTyson gags. For me, he was the best part.
Megan Hilty has a lovely voice. She was def the star of Smash even if her character was a bit unlikeable.
This made my day! Smash ended with a bang and I’m loving that ELEVEN is playing the remainder of The New Normal as it is another I will miss.
Go On should of never been cancelled. -.-
