7 Comments:

  1. @WolfieBoy
Yeah, if people just would know that Shine produce MC (I always thought, there should be Channel Shine).

I also think The Voice isn’t finished yet

  2. Bettystreep2008 – you are not alone. We still enjoy MCA and it is appearing in the demographic top 5 now which is a start. It had tough competion and lost some viewers due to new format. MKR also provides cooking program saturation. Ten will come back. People have to realise that Shine make the Voice for nine etc. The lower ratings are complex to explain but I feel the show is not finished yet as some posters are suggesting. Knocking Ten about production style is a joke as Shine makes many of the reality programmes on FTA TV and all with a similar style, such as repeating what happened be4 a commercial break etc. I too find that annoying but at this time we are stuck with it. 🙂

  3. Come on Masterchef Australia feels like a repetition show and is therefore boring. Only to have celebrities and nicely decorated shots doesn’t create a high quality show. It’s just waste of money if the story coverage is meagre

  4. bettestreep2008

Sorry to disappoint you Squirrel. I don’t think MC is ‘great’ – it’s just better than most reality shows on at the moment.

And I am a huge fan of Survivor and The Amazing Race (US) and was glued to Big Brother when it was on Ten and with Gretel as host.

I also enjoy So you think you can dance (both Australian and US versions) and loved the earlier seasons of Australian Idol.

What’s that about me hating all reality shows again?

  5. Secret Squirrel

Can we take it as read that bettestreep2008 thinks that Masterchef is great but all the other reality programs are crap? That’ll save them from having to write the same thing every day.

  6. Well done to a great series! I enjoyed the focus on the Renovations!
Thanks Ch 7 for not dragging it out too long! Please keep the format and length similar next year!
