  1. Luckily TEN do not have the massive debt loads that Seven and Nine have. If they did, they would surely close to being beyond broke, if not, off the air. I keep repeating, the overall industry needs TEN to survive, I hope they do.

  2. Ten has been recording similar numbers for a while and has been as low as 19% some months. They will have reported their profit, or lack of it as required and they haven’t been paying any dividends to shareholders. In fact they asked shareholders for more capital.

With the Ashes Nine may have beaten Seven this month, which would be the first time in over 5 years.

  3. I still stick by my claim, that whilst many say that Network Ten is trying to do the right thing for viewers regarding EPG and Advertised programme over runs and erratic starting and finishing times etc., where I still suspect that they will be as bad as the worst of the other networks, that is if they had the same number of Advertisers, so we should enjoy their closeness to accuracy whilst the others abuse their viewers at their will.

  4. Interesting article – does this answer the adage of ‘winning demos’ doesn’t mean profit? 7 is still having the largest share of ad revenue although 9 is creeping up. And who says WA is a small market? It has grown the largest!

  5. Absolute disaster for Ten. Surely Lachlan needs to take responsibility in this case.

I assume Ten would not be making a profit David – would they need to update or advise the market in your opinion ?
