Next week Seven will premiere Matthew Perry’s latest dramedy, Go On, about a radio host trying to move on from the death of his wife.
The cast includes Laura Benanti, Julie White, Suzy Nakamura and John Cho.
The series had mostly favourable reviews but despite its 22 episodes, was not renewed for a second season.
Seven kicks off with a double episode.
“Pilot / He Got Game, She Got Cats”
After taking some time off after his wife’s death, sportscaster Ryan is now ready to get back to work, but his boss won’t put him on the air until he seeks counselling. He reluctantly joins a support group along with his boss/best-friend Steve, and Ryan’s plucky assistant Carrie, with the intention to get it over with as soon as possible.
10:45pm Tuesday July 9th on Seven.

@ Belinda, Seven were playing Double Mindy Project episodes at around 11-11:15 pm on Thursdays before Wimbledon started, so it might return on Thursday July 11th, Seven currently has a TBA for that slot for next Thursday.
Thanks Pete and sav001. I wish they would finish that show off before playing new shows.
@ Belinda
Nope. Still four episodes to go.
@ Belinda, No Seven still has the final 3 episodes of The Mindy Project to show
Did Seven finish playing season one of The Mindy Project?
This was such a great show. The cast were amazing. I’m so annoyed that it didn’t get renewed… hopefully it doesn’t completely flop here.
@maxxdude – Sometimes it’s bad luck, somtimes they get these shows as part of a package deal to buy a high rating show.
Loved this show. Was the best new comedy last year, and the supporting cast is fantastic. It’s funniest when they’re a group. Don’t get why now they decide to show it.
Seven are getting a few cancelled shows with this & Red Widow. Are they hoping for a quick hit like Last Resort or is this just bad buying by Seven?
