Airdate: STUDIO at the MEMO

If cabaret and performance is your thang then STUDIO’s new series  STUDIO at the MEMO hosted by Tim Rogers begins in two week’s time.

Produced by Renegade Productions (RocKwiz, Wilfred) this has been filmed at revived St Kilda venue The MEMO with Rogers,  in-house band The Syndicate, a slew of guest artists and a live audience.

Episode 1 – 8.30pm Tuesday 16 July
Tim Rogers and The Syndicate are joined by The Cruel Sea’s Tex Perkins, stage sensation and performer extraordinaire Todd McKenney, Winners and Losers star and bonafide triple-threat Virginia Gay, Abby Dobson in French chanteuse mode with Baby et Lulu, and rock legend Dave Graney.

Episode 2 – 8.30pm Tuesday 23 July
Tim Rogers and The Syndicate are joined by cabaret chameleon Paul Capsis, Australia’s next-bigthing Abbe May, decadently attired R&B crooner Mojo Juju, mind-bending contortionist Ruby Rubberlegs and Tex Perkins presenting a dramatic reading of some of the world’s classic hits.

Episode 3 – 8.30pm Tuesday 30 July
Tim Rogers and The Syndicate are joined by Cold Chisel’s Don Walker, brilliant boy burlesque Briefs, guitar prodigy Kaki King, songstress Sheridan Harbridge, beatboxing wonder Tom Thumb and the circus ‘Pocket Rocket’ Anna Lumb.

Episode 4 – 8.30pm Tuesday 6 August
Tim Rogers and The Syndicate are joined by singer-songwriter Kate Miller-Heidke, the aweinspiring Circus Oz, the iconic Bernadette Robinson, the Russian delights of Vulgargrad and a haunting performance from New Zealand’s Delaney Davidson.

Performers in episodes to follow include Canadian chanteuse Martha Wainwright, Powderfinger’s Bernard Fanning, Queen of Burlesque Imogen Kelly and many more.
