Comedy Channel has programmed a number of shows featuring Australian and British comedians that it is branding "Comedy Ashes."

2013-07-12_1322 The Comedy Channel has programmed a number of shows featuring Australian and British comedians that it is branding Comedy Ashes on Friday evenings from next week.

It begins with Aussie comedian Brendon Burns and Brit Russell Howard on Friday, July 19 at 9.30pm with Rowan Atkinson, Steve Hughes, Matt Okine, and Alan Carr to follow.

Friday July 19

Brendon Burns: So I Suppose This Is Offensive Now at 9.30pm
Australian Premiere
Winner of the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award for this performance, Burns brings his hilariously aggressive, no-holds-barred rant to the stage.

Russell Howard, Right Here Right Now at 11.00pm
Filmed live at London’s famous Hammersmith Apollo, one of Britain’s most exciting and popular stand-up comedians hits the stage to deliver his trademark mix of eloquent gags and deft storytelling.

Friday July 26

Brendon Burns: Sober Not Clean at 9.30pm
Australian Premiere
