Inside the Actor’s Studio: Tina Fey

Bio channel will premiere a new episode of Inside the Actor’s Studio later this month featuring 30 Rock‘s Tina Fey in conversation with Mr. James Lipton.

As an actress, comedian, writer and producer, Fey is best known for her work on hit television programs Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock. Her film credits include Mean Girls, for which she wrote the screenplay and co-starred, Date Night in which she starred with Steve Carell and Mark Wahlberg, Baby Mama, and more recently Admission.

Host James Lipton asks Fey about her comedy roots in Chicago, being the first female head writer for Saturday Night Live, hosting the 70th Golden Globe Awards in 2013 with Amy Poehler, and her role in American national politics as a Sarah Palin impersonator.

Fey’s talents have been recognised with seven Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, four Screen Actors Guild Awards, and four Writers Guild of America Awards.

Fey has appeared twice on Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people and was the youngest-ever woman to win the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, awarded in 2010. She is also the author of her biography Bossypants.
