  1. I think you may find they will still be working for Fox doing the domestic one dayers, Sheffield shield.Flem is on the panel for the Lords test on Fox

  2. This keeps getting better and better. Okay, I don’t have an opinion about Waugh, but Fleming in the ABC Radio Grandstand commentary box is just fantastic. Full marks to whomever at TEN has been responsible for the commentator signings – well done.

  3. As many have already commented, I agree that 9’s commentators are woeful (Richie being the exception), so it’s just a shame that 10 aren’t covering cricket as a whole on FTA.

I’ve seen Fleming speak at a function and he had the crowd in stitches. He’s a very funny guy and I hope he brings his humour to the commentary box.

  4. If it is Big Bash I dont care whether or not it is in High Def, anything is better than the old analogue stuff. Now everybody wabntys everything in High Definition.

  5. I was thoroughly entertained by the usual uproar from cricket fans that Channel 10 were a chance to take the full cricket rights from 9 saying “Oh, it’s just not going to be the same”!

Turns out, the commentary team is probably better than the 9 team… and I reckon a few other aspects of the coverage will be better.

Did we all forget how well they covered the AFL when they had the game?! Brilliant coverage from them. They just need to be given a chance.

  6. Well I was half right. I thought Ten may have picked up Fleming and Blewett, particularly as Blewett can host. Maybe they’ll use Quartermain to host.

Should have been an obvious announcement really as Julian, Blewett and Border are anchoring Fox’s Ashes Coverage.

  7. Ten now have a better team than Nine do and Nine have been doing this forever. Sure Richie Benaud is the sound of cricket but he is the only good thing about Nine’s coverage. The rest are idiots.

  8. Great line up of commentators thanks channel 10, have not watched cricket for a long time on 9, very boring, same old thing no variation, but am really looking forward to this summers KFC T20 bash.

  9. @stilsey
You don’t know that for sure as they probably haven’t released the full broadcast team yet but I will like to see BJ and AJ join TEN
