A missing persons case featured on TEN’s crime show Wanted has been solved by police -the first success story for the new show.
13 year old missing teenager Bethany Neville has been located safe and well today at a house in Cessnock.
She went missing in March from her home in Kiama Downs NSW in March and her case has been featured on Wanted for 3 weeks, including interviews with parents, re-enactments and CCTV footage of her at Sydney’s Central Railway Station.
Police from Lake Illawarra Local Area Command continued with their investigations and the teenager has been now been reunited with her parents.
Police have thanked the public and media for their assistance.

This wouldn’t work on Nine or Seven, they’d cancel it after a few weeks of low (for them) ratings.
Great attitude Josh S!
Despite the numbers “only SBS would be envious of” a missing person was found…
Lucky for the ‘low rating’ Ten, because your mates at 7 and 9 haven’t opted to put this show on?? One of them did however run a great fear mongering piece on the dark side of Bali though…. wonder if any of those unsolved cases will find resolution?
A great positive result………Good on you TEN!
Great news! TEN need to keep this on the air.
Great news. This show is becoming actually really good, a lot smoother last ep.
It’s great when TV can make a difference.
She went missing when she was 13, but is now 14 years old.
It’s great news though. I look forward to finding out about how she made it all the way up to Cessnock next Monday night!
Living very close to Kiama this was the buzz around town today. A great outcome when the worst had been expected. Thank you TEN. Well done.
What wonderful news.
It’s lovely to hear of a good news story with a happy ending 🙂
@Josh S: Harsh, true & funny.
Good result TEN.
@JoshS – I’d hate to watch this on Nine or Seven.
Fabulous news. A result such as this means more than ratings figures. Hopefully Ten will continue with the show.
A good result that helps validate its role.
More crimes would be solved if it was on Seven or Nine, since only SBS would be envious of TEN’s numbers.
