NITV is so happy with the Marngrook Footy Show that it has been extended by an extra thirty minutes.

NITV is so happy with the Marngrook Footy Show that it has been extended by an extra thirty minutes from 60 to 90 minutes.
That will see the show go head to head with The Footy Show for 30 minutes (something they probably never expected to do), but their audience presumably won’t mind.
This week on Marngrook, Richmond rising star Brandon Ellis joins the boys on the panel.
We also meet Hawthorn great John Kennedy Junior on the eve of the clash between traditional rivals the Hawks & the Cats.
Plus exciting Australian artist Vance Joy performs live in the studio.
All that and more in our brand new 90 minute show.
Thursday 7:30PM on NITV & 11:25PM on SBS2.

Interesting to see Barefoot Sports (following Marngrook) got the bullet as soon as they discussed NRL player Blake Ferguson’s problems with alcohol. Seems the NITV elders won’t tolerate anything that shows their community in a less than positive light.
By that measure you may as well say it’s sad that there is a need for NITV.
its kinda sad that there is even a need for this program. but I guess racism is alive and kicking in the AFL
It will be interesting to see how they handle the extra half hour. I have noted that as the hour mark rushes closer the panel have to rush their tips. Hopefully there will be more time for considered tipping.
