We finally have an answer on whether the outlook for Rove LA on Foxtel.
“We haven’t settled on whether there will be a Series 3 or not.” Kevin Whyte of Token Management told TV Tonight.
“But it’s fair to say there won’t be one this year.”
Mindful of how long it takes to develop a new series, he added: “It’s July!”
Rove McManus has had two seasons of his LA-based season on FOX8 and is nominated for 3 ASTRA Awards later this month.
A Foxtel spokesperson confirmed the Pay TV provider is still in discussions for more from Rove.

Maybe a return to Channel 31 from where he came from?
It annoys the hell out of me when Rove quits the TV show in the country that loves him (Australia) and goes to the US then gets aired on Pay TV in Australia!!!
No Rove? what a shame (please note the sarcastic look on my face. lol) Rove left ten to go to the US to hopefully land a hosting role over there, the only job he could get was with foxtel here in Australia. until recently the show wasn’t even airing in the states.
Thats a shame, with all the US late night talk shows but is it we can’t have one locally grown one here 5 nights a week?
Foxtel just does not commit to its original programmes. They continuously cancel them way too early.
I thought the whole point of paytv was to stick to things a bit longer and take more risks as they have 2 sources of revenue.
I so hope there is a third series.Rove’s last show was the best talk show he had ever done
