ABC (US) presenter Siobhan Riley gave a bit too much information when she told Michigan viewers about local traffic jams.
But phallic diagrams have also gotten plenty of weather presenters into all sorts of TV trouble….

It’s a shame that they ended the clip there. I was hoping to see her do a throw to a traffic reporter “in the chopper”.
I’ve made that mistake teaching Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo and Juliet – I was annotating the scene with the two buildings and it was very phallic – students started giggling and I realised what I’d done. I think I blushed for the next 24 hours!!
