It’s not every day that a TV show steps into musical territory.
Scrubs, Buffy, Grey’s Anatomy to name a few.
Psych has dared to go there with a two hour episode which features Rent star Anthony Rapp, more than a year in the making.
No idea when (or if?) this will ever air in Australia…
(sorry about the quality!)

I also met Barry Bostwick recently who is also in the episode he said he had a ball filming the musical episode even though he didn’t get to sing
Best way to see the musical legally Amazon have it on sale from December 17th mine was ordered months ago
@Mr Rampage
Ten had the rights to Psych and used it as a replacement for Monk, it didn’t rate well and they stopped screening it.
They screened some on Eleven and when they launched One moved it there and showed S5, but it didn’t rate well and got dumped and then put back on very late at night with double episodes to use them up before the rights expired. And they haven’t exercised their rights for any more seasons.
TV1 bought the non-exclusive rights to S1-3 when they became available, and showed them over and over again.
Craig the Fringe episode is in the second season its number varies because of the extra season 1 episode. Its called Brown Betty. Its the episode Walter tells Ella a story in his idiosyncratic way.
Xena’s Bitter Suit was first musical ep I saw.
That tango is a brain-bug! I must hear the rest…
How does this show barely get a go on Australian TV? It’s not like we’re over-run with quality.
I was looking at sillygostly list 🙂
Fringe, I don’t remember there’s, which ep was that?
FYI this is still set for December 15 in the US
I’ll just add Fringe to that list. 🙂
Looks fantastic and I think we may get to see this on Australian screens in or around 2019, considering Season 4 started on ONE in 2011 and Season 5 ended about 3 months ago (as this looks to be kicking off Season 8 in the US).
Add Buffy to the list, but I don’t care. Best show ever!
Shame it didn’t work on FTA here, hope it comes soon but it’s not going to air in the US until late this year, maybe December last I heard.
Buffy was on the list?
The Simpsons, Futurama and Daria have also done it (just to name a few).
