Returning: Bones, Please Marry My Boy.

New episodes of Bones finally return to Seven this Sunday night.

2013-07-22_2326As expected new episodes of Bones finally return to Seven this Sunday night at 8:30pm.

“The Friend In Need”
The Jeffersonian team investigates the remains of a 15-year-old boy. Although his mother and few close friends saw him as intelligent with poor social skills, the team discovers that this seemingly innocent boy was actually involved in illegal activity and had attended a high school party two weeks prior where drugs were present. The investigation takes an ugly turn when an underage girl confesses to being raped and the deceased boy’s reputation is compromised. Meanwhile, with the case’s spotlight on deception, intern Finn Abernathy contemplates telling Cam that her daughter Michelle is in town visiting for the weekend.

Meanwhile Please Marry My Boy hosted by Ada Nicodemou premieres at 9pm Monday July 29 following the season launch of The X Factor.

An all-new series returns with three new mums in search of a soulmate for their love-challenged sons. Beginning with the all-important speed date selection process, the mums will narrow a field of women from ten to three with the successful singles then invited into the family home. Competition is fierce, hormones run rampant, and tears and tantrums are guaranteed.

A double ep of Red Widow airs at 10pm.

  1. As mentioned previously David was right. Also it does make sense to launch Mr. Selfridge later. Plus I’m glad for the viewers wanting to watch Bones that it’s back.

I’m sure it surprises no-one I’m even less of a fan of the silly new timeslots. And I know they aren’t the only one doing it. I won’t be surprised if it will encourage more recording of channels that do such a thing. I know I used to do it with Star Trek in the nineties. I watched Seven and recorded Nine. Because Seven knew how to be on time. Ironic.

  2. Finally, new Bones! 🙂 well at least new for us in Australia. In the U.S this season has already completed as of April. According to my research there are 9 Eps left of the 8th season for Channel 7 to play. Hope after finishing this season they go straight in to playing the 9th season which starts up in the U.S in September.

  3. So with Bones back on Sundays, Mondays are looking likely for Mr Selfridge. Please Marry My Boy shifts to Thursday nights after its premiere on Monday.

  4. @Harrypotter1994,

Please Marry My Boy’s regular timeslot is 8 pm Thursdays, the Monday is a one-off to give it an extra push by airing behind X Factor.
