  1. @TheTvGuru, thank you for proving to be a source of humour.

In 2006, the pundits were saying Channel 7 would be number 1 in 2007 and that success would be a one-hit wonder. Each and every one of those “respected” peers got it dead wrong.

Nine will always have ratings success with sports programming because its their forte. Beyond that, their non-sports content is derisory at best.

Seven take their programming responsibilities seriously, demonstrated through their depth and consistency. I would be delusional if I didn’t admit to the verity it hasn’t been a good year for them. Nine certainly is making a comeback but they will never be in a position where they win by default and a cocky attitude.

  2. Maev....Sydney

Whoa…amazing for GEM…not that I am a cricket fan…but it goes to show….you put something on that people want watch…you will get the numbers.

  3. @bettestreep2008
Wonderland, Puberty Blues, Wanted, Under The Dome, Ripper Street, Rigby, BBL and The Winter @l^mp!cs are Ten’s response. The Bachealor is just what was available at short notice to plug a hole in their schedule.

  4. The Other Adam

Dirty Laundry Live was a lot of fun last night. It’s like they know it won’t renew next year so are just enjoying the ride while it lasts.

I hope it does get renewed though

  5. bettestreep2008

If 7 is quickly going down the gurgular – I bet 10 wishes it was doing as well.

Once again 10 comes in 4th and it’s main channel is beaten by cricket on Gem!

And 10’s solution is ‘The Bachelor’???

    Yikes!

  6. 7 slowly but quickly going down the gurgular! 9’s clawing back. Australian Tv History should mark 9 taking back their dominance when they do!!
