Airdate: Australia Votes: The World Today Panel

From today a weekly panel discussion program Australia Votes: The World Today Panel will air on ABC News 24.

Hosted by Eleanor Hall, the program will run every Friday during the election campaign and will also be simulcast on ABC Local Radio and Radio National. The last episode will air the day before the election on September 6.

Presenter Eleanor Hall will host a panel of high profile political players who will dissect the week’s election issues and performances in what is expected to be one of the most vigorous campaigns in years.

The first episode on Friday, 9 August will feature:

Former Labor Politician Maxine McKew
Economist and Former Liberal Party Leader John Hewson
Former Greens Leader Bob Brown

Australia Votes: The World Today Panel is a co-production with Radio Current Affairs.
