Joy Behar made her final appearance on The View on Friday, ending nearly 17 years on the ABC panel show.
Guests including Joan Rivers, Regis Philbin, Meredith Vieira, Susie Essman and more surprised Behar, who sat front and centre on stage. Co-hosts Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd sat in the front row of the audience. Notably absent was Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who exited The View last month after co-hosting for a decade.
“I’m going to have my sentimental moment whether you like it or not,” Walters said. “I love you, Joy. Thank you and thank you and thank you. We are really going to miss you.”
Behar had the last word and said she wanted to thank so many people. First and foremost, Behar said, she wanted to thank her hair and makeup people. “You saw how I started off, it wasn’t pretty,” she said.
It sure wasn’t, but how could we forget such moments as this one….?

Same here, no The View, and no Days of Our Lives to watch any more, so why should we care if Joy has left, channel 9 doesn’t care about these shows any more, and doesn’t care about the viewers either.
the sad part is this shit has been on tv for 17 years… seriously? 17 years? of that? WTF America…
I haven’t bothered with Nine during the day since Ellen went into re-runs and The View was canned. Actually apart from recording Underbelly I don’t watch Nine anymore.
I miss this show… 🙁
Yes. I’d like it back too. Imagine how good it will be without Elisabeth!
I agree. Bring back The View. People’s Court is just not that good!
Nine please dump People’s Court & bring back The View.
