Kamil Ellis joins ABC3’s Bushwhacked!

Kamil Ellis will join Kayne Tremills for the second season of ABC3's action-adventure series.

2013-08-20_123714-year-old Wiradjuri boy Kamil Ellis will join Kayne Tremills for the second season of ABC3’s action-adventure series, Bushwhacked!

He replaces Brandon Walters for a the 13 x 24 series, due to air in 2014.

Filming of the Mint Pictures series kicked off this month in Western Australia and sees the duo trekking throughout the country in search of endangered wildlife and Indigenous rites and rituals, native wildlife and adrenalin-pumping missions with jellyfish, tarantulas, emus and dugongs.

Kamil Ellis has been performing traditional Aboriginal song and dance since the age of two, and he made his TV acting debut in My Place. Other credits include Dance Academy, Sydney Dance Company’s production The Secret River, and performances with the Ganang Spirit Dancers.

Kamil and Kayne will travel to new spectacular Australian destinations, including Uluru, Kings Canon, Ningaloo Reef and Warrumbungle National Park. Plus, they’ll encounter deadly, jaw-dropping wildlife as they take on even more extreme and thrilling missions. It will leave our viewers on the edge of their seats.”
