Playing songs from their new album, Graffiti on the Train as well as a collection of their biggest hits, Stereophonics prove just why they are one of Britain’s most dynamic and celebrated live bands.

The band explodes onto stage with ‘Catacomb’ kicking off their set before they move in to ‘Superman’ from their 2005 release, Language. Sex. Violence. Other?. Stereophonics treat the intimate audience of 350 fans (including some raucous UK expats) to a bunch of new songs off this year’s album Graffiti On The Train, including the title track – their current single – as well as ‘Indian Summer’ and ‘Share The Same Sun’.

The rockers also perform a string of their hits including ‘Maybe Tomorrow’, ‘Bartender’ and ‘Dakota, but this only makes the audience want more, begging for an encore. And they’re not left disappointed with the band closing the phenomenal show with unforgettable performances of ‘A Thousand Trees’ and ‘Have A Nice Day’.

A one hour special, MAX Sessions: Stereophonics also features an interview with the band, behind the scenes footage, as well as questions from the audience.

The MAX Sessions is Australia’s original and longest-running concert series. Since its inception in 2003, the award-winning series has developed an illustrious tradition of delivering extraordinary and unique live performances from well-loved local and international acts.

Some of the world’s most iconic artists have graced the MAX Sessions stage over the past ten years with captivating performances from Coldplay, Slash, Blondie, Powderfinger, Keith Urban, K.D. Lang, James Blunt, Michael Buble, Jimmy Barnes, James Reyne, Ben Harper, INXS, Snow Patrol and many, many more.

Stereophonics are Kelly Jones (vocals/guitar), Richard Jones (bass), Adam Zindani (guitar) and Jamie Morrison (drums). Their eighth studio album, Graffiti on the Train is out now through Warner Music Australia.
