Pipsqueaks-smallerPipsqueaks, a new puppet show for pre-schoolers is in the pipeline for Seven.

Co-produced by Beyond Screen Production and Seven, the series sees pre-schoolers talking and engaging with puppets named Peppy, Sassy, Poppy and Squidge, who live in a huge adventure playground.

Series producer and director at Beyond Screen Production, Ian Munro, commented, “We invited more than a hundred kids to come in and chat with the Pipsqueaks and as a result we have the most wonderful and entertaining mix of conversations in each show. It never ceased to amaze me how relaxed and natural little kids are when they’re chatting with puppets.”

The first series consists of 45 x 30 minute episodes with a second series already commissioned.

Beyond Distribution is set to launch Pipsqueaks at MIP Junior in France.

Munia Kanna-Konsek, Head of Sales for Beyond Distribution, added, “Combining education with entertainment has always proven to be a winner for us and is especially popular with the pre-school audience”.
