As the 50th anniversary of the death of JFK nears, SBS will screen a World Premiere documentary that proves once and for all who killed the President.

2013-09-26_2353As the 50th anniversary of the death of John F. Kennedy nears SBS will screen JFK: The Smoking Gun, a World Premiere documentary, that proves once and for all who killed the President.

JFK: The Smoking Gun is the culmination of detective Colin McLaren’s four-year investigation into the President’s assassination. SBS ONE broadcasts the world premiere before its much-anticipated release in the US and Canada.

McLaren gathered the evidence, studied 10,000 pages of transcripts, discovered the witnesses the Warren Commission failed to call, and uncovered the exhibits and testimonies that were hidden until now. The documentary claims that what he has found is far more outrageous than any conspiracy theory.

SBS Director of Television Tony Iffland said: “SBS is proud to be a partner in this important project that kicks of our commemorative JFK season. It’s a documentary that changes our understanding of one of the most significant events of the 20th century. It’s extraordinary to see Australians cracking the JFK case wide open.”

One of Australia’s most celebrated homicide detectives, Colin McLaren, uncovers the shocking truth about who really killed US President John F. Kennedy in JFK: The Smoking Gun, a new documentary co-commissioned by SBS.

Kicking off SBS’s JFK season in the lead up to the 50th anniversary of his death, JFK: The Smoking Gun sees McLaren using ballistics, forensic evidence, eyewitness accounts and buried testimonies to prove that the fatal gunshot came from a Secret Service agent riding in the car behind the president.

McLaren also reveals the Secret Service cover-up that followed JFK’s assassination, using exhibits and interviews that have been previously hidden.

JFK: The Smoking Gun is a co-commission between SBS, Discovery Channel Canada and Reelz Channel (US). It is co-produced by Cordell/Jigsaw/Zapruder (Australia) and Muse Entertainment (Canada), and directed by Australian Malcolm McDonald.

8.30pm Sunday, 3 November SBS ONE.

  1. @Pertinax – No it was Oswald, it’s shown in a show called Quantum Leap in 5:01 – Lee Harvey Oswald, Part I and 5:02 – Lee Harvey Oswald, Part II. Sam keeps leaping in and out of Oswald’s body over both episodes (Sam starts to believe he is Oswald at points in it), however ends up out of Oswald’s body when Oswald fires the shot. Sam instead of ending up shooting Kennedy, leaps into a Secret Service persons body and saves Jackie Kennedy from being killed (like she was in an alternate timeline).

Though later on in another show called Dark Skies, it shows that Oswald was infected with an Alien creature that was called The Hive. Which probably explains why Sam and Oswald’s minds were merging, granted Cigarette Smoking Man may have been behind some of it, however he may have used The Hive to do it via Oswald. He didn’t do it himself strictly speaking, the X-Files only told a part of…

  2. @Tony Bee – Quoting from the Warren Commission Report (which we believe to be “so not true”) –
“For the benefit of the Warren Commission, expert riflemen from the US Army and the FBI attempted to duplicate the assassin’s task, using the rifle that had been discovered on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository.
Even after fixing some of the gun’s mechanical problems, and despite firing at stationary targets from an easier vantage point, they failed to achieve the combination of accuracy and speed demanded of the lone gunman: two hits out of three, within about six seconds (see Warren Commission Hearings, vol.3, p.446 and pp.403–10).

  3. We all know that the Cigarette Smoking Man assassinated JKF and framed Oswald. It’s recounted as clear as day in the X Files episode #4.7 Musing of a Cigarrette Smoking Man.

SBS is just a pawn in yet another conspiracy to frame Oswald, and others, to hide the real deliberate assassination by shadow forces with the US Government to conceal the pact they made with the aliens. .

  4. It would be far more “outrageous” if they said that the fatal gunshot came deliberately from a Secret Service agent riding in the car behind the president; rather than a tragic accident.

  5. After watching the movie JFK, I was sus about the ‘official’ line of who killed him. Kevin Costner’s character seemed to be right on the money, but was thwarted at every turn.
