Now here’s an idea worth a shot.
Evergreen Larry Emdur has recorded a late night talk-show pilot.
The Morning Show host recorded is pet project on Friday in St. Leonards with guests Guy Sebastian, Samantha Armytage and Unzipped author Manon Youdale under the guise of Larry on Late.
Lazza told told the Sunday Telegraph he got some advice from Rove McManus.
“He was the first person I called when I found the list again six months ago. We had lunch and I ran him through the idea … he’s very much been the late night guy in Australia for the past decade and has remained his own boss all that time. I admire him for that,” he said.
A Seven spokesperson said: “When Larry told us this idea was on his list, we thought it was classic Larry. We were more than happy to join in the fun and offer any help he needed. He’s in charge of this one though and we’re certain he and his audience will enjoy the experience.”

@IheartABC – You are not alone. This idea does stink. Larry is a nice enough guy but too cheesy and his jokes too corny. He is best suited to morning and game shows. I would love to see Dave Hughes given a late night talk show.
Am I the only one who thinks this idea stinks?
