Head First presenter Sabour Bradley is getting a second season of 5 episodes on ABC2 but is asking for viewers to suggest a topic in a “crowdsourcing” twist.
The content of one documentary will be decided and shaped by the Australian public.
“After the first episode I started getting all these emails from people either suggesting subjects for a second series or asking to meet and pitch their doco ideas in person,” Bradley said.
“I’d been mulling over the idea of crowdsourcing anyway, so I got together with my fellow producer John Molloy and said what if we throw it open to the people? He was immediately onboard.”
ABC2 Controller, Stuart Menzies said, “This is a truly original idea, terrifying and out of our control – sure, but that is what makes it so ABC2. Actually the only terrifying bit was the look in John’s eye.”
A special www.yourheadfirst.com.au website goes live on Monday, September 23 to participate or watch the idea develop.
Head First series one, will also rescreen from Monday, September 23 on ABC2.

Looks like a lazy and potentially misleading gimmick to me. Not really “terrifying and out of our control” when they have a clause “provisional of course on the ABC’s approval.”
The first series of this show was ok, but surprising it’s got another series.
