TEN Network: Election Guide

TEN's Election coverage is a special co-production between TEN News and The Project led by Hugh Riminton.

Hugh RimintonTEN’s Election coverage begins at 6pm on Saturday with a special co-production between TEN News and The Project led by Hugh Riminton.

It’s scheduled to run for 4 hours.

The Election Project with Hugh Riminton is a serious but entertaining alternative to the federal election coverage.

A co-production between TEN News and The Project, The Election Project with Hugh Riminton is the best of both worlds coming together for in-depth coverage, with the lighter moments you would expect from The Project team.

The panel will consist of The Project hosts Charlie, Carrie and Dave, along with Hugh Riminton, and will feature The Project regulars Natasha Stott Despoja and Steve Price.

Two of TEN’s most experienced and most loved news presenters, Sandra Sully and Paul Bongiorno, will also join the action, based with Tony Abbott and Kevin Rudd and bringing viewers the latest action from the polling booths.

  1. I wonder if Rupert will do a cameo appearance, because he would definitely not be out of place among Network Ten’s line-up that just about says it all( possibly him being piggybacked by Andrew Bolt, as there is no way Andrew Bolt could support Gina as much as she has supported him).
Steve Price always get me grabbing the remote, when Joe Hilderbrand came on the scene it was the closest I every came to hurling the remote at the TV, but then thought better of doing as much damage, as many of these rightwingers have and are about to inflict on those who need support the most, just look at all the ” In House Emergencies” occurring throughout the QLD hospitals system after the ” Campbell and Costello Audit Show” and we are yet to get the ” Abbott and Costello Audit Show”

  2. As much as I rely on ABC News (Radio and TV) for my news, I might actually give The Election Project a go. Four hours of these guys is probably more enjoyable (if not as educational) than watching O’Brien and Green for the same amount of time.

Can always switch to the ABC in the ad breaks.

  3. @ D@GP – it is scheduled to go from 6pm-10pm, only to be stopped for a delayed airing of the Australia VS South Africa Rugby Championship game (which will air live on ONE). I’m guessing their trying to ensure all see the match, live or delayed.
