As Forbes notes:

To compile our list we talked to producers, managers, agents and other in-the-know folks to come up with estimates for how much each actor earned from entertainment-related endeavors between June 2012 and June 2013. We do not subtract for taxes, agent expenses or the other costs of being a celebrity.

Recently Forbes announces Modern Family‘s Sofia Vergara as the highest-paid female actor in television.

  1. I am still confused how Ashton Kutcher can join an immensely popular show and then demand the top salary….

How did dexter earn more than Walter White? Or even Rick Grimes, that’s the highest rated show on TV.

  2. Surprised to see Ray Romano and Tim Allen in that list… I know Tim has last man standing, but given its a relatively low rater I don’t see why he is reaping so many rewards, or is this working off royalties as they both had big shows in the 90s.
