Forbes has declared Ashton Kutcher television’s highest US paid actor.
Kutcher is estimates to have earned $24 million between June 2012 and June 2013 (the earnings includes syndication royalties and income from film work too).
The Two and a Half Men cast dominate the list with Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones also making the top 10. Poetically, Charlie Sheen trails his former co-stars.
The Top 10 were:
Ashton Kutcher $24 million
Jon Cryer $21 million
Ray Romano $16 million
Neil Patrick Harris $15 million
Mark Harmon $15 million
Patrick Dempsey $13 million
Tim Allen $11 million
Angus T. Jones $11 milllion
Michael C. Hall $10 million
Charlie Sheen $10 million
As Forbes notes:
To compile our list we talked to producers, managers, agents and other in-the-know folks to come up with estimates for how much each actor earned from entertainment-related endeavors between June 2012 and June 2013. We do not subtract for taxes, agent expenses or the other costs of being a celebrity.
Recently Forbes announces Modern Family‘s Sofia Vergara as the highest-paid female actor in television.

This top ten is all blokes…..clearly the US has yet another equality problem
Huh? It’s a male list. As noted Sofia Vergara topped the previous list of females.
@Tony Bee
It’s called extremistan. These are the outliers.
Am I the only one who thinks it’s obsene to pay any of these people this amount of money?
I am still confused how Ashton Kutcher can join an immensely popular show and then demand the top salary….
How did dexter earn more than Walter White? Or even Rick Grimes, that’s the highest rated show on TV.
Pretty sure most sitcom stars work more than 20 hours a week.
Not sure if highest paid = best show, if that was the case the Big Bang cast would be in the top 10.
Is Ray Romano earning that much from Parenthood or is that from syndication for Everybody Loves Raymond. Same with Tim Allen for Home Improvement.
I guess Duckie got the last laugh.
I also would like to work 20 hours a week and say 17 lame lines of dialogue for $24million a year. Who do I talk to about making that happen?
Pretty obvious, because Two and a Half Men is the best sitcom show.
I’m happy! my 3 favourite actors are in the top 3. Wooohoooo!!
Didn’t thing Ray Romano would be 3rd on that list, I know he’s doing Parenthood but much be making a packet from other work and royalties.
Ray Romano? Was ‘Men of a Certain Age’ a secret hit?
Surprised to see Ray Romano and Tim Allen in that list… I know Tim has last man standing, but given its a relatively low rater I don’t see why he is reaping so many rewards, or is this working off royalties as they both had big shows in the 90s.
