Big Brother finale

After extending its season, Big Brother now appears set to crown its winner in 2 week's time.

2013-10-21_0004After extending its season by around two weeks, Big Brother now appears set to crown its winner on Monday November 4th.

Tickets are on sale through Dreamworld’s website.

Due to Daylight Saving it looks like Queensland, which is home to BB, will again be behind Sydney and Melbourne viewing.

It’s not yet clear what the finale will be up against on Seven which is yet to reveal its early evening line-up.

This week “loved ones” will enter the BB house but housemates are unable to make contact with them, which appears to be a variation on a stunt from BB UK.

Nine is also plugging the return of Tully (again).

UPDATE: Dreamworld has confirmed the finale for Wednesday November 6.

  1. They have done the loved ones coming in where they can’t talk to them before in previous seasons, it’s not from the uk.

It’s great it’s been extended… not ready for it to be finished yet.

I wonder if Tully will be part of the ‘loved ones’ as in the hms will have to ignore her.

  2. I have never watched Big Brother until this year and i must say i have really enjoyed it. I’ve watched it every night and have really enjoyed seeing the housemates interact and compete in challenges. The show may not be everybody’s cup of tea but i hope it comes back next year. It may not be a ratings juggernaut but it’s done awesomely in the demos and according to tv week it always scores 1+ episodes in the top 20 most watched of the week.

  3. I thought BB was going along OK this year, then 2 lots of 2 intruders completely killed the momentum and growing tension in the house. And I like Sonia but Gretel was the ultimate host of this show, would love to watch her do the exit interviews with Ed and Jade and point out a few home truths.

  4. Have been a fan of BB since the beginning, but switched off after Ben left. Even before that it turned into the Tim show (cannot stand his fake voice, laugh, ‘look at me’ attitude). So I do not care who wins this year. Oh and I also miss Gretel.

  5. That makes sense with promos saying final 2 weeks. I’m finding it hard to sit through the daily shows lately, I feel the final weeks are just dragging. As for Daylight Savings, show some respect and give it to Qld viewers live.

  6. Tully again? Please, she was uninteresting when she was actually a housemate – why do the producers keep flogging her like the proverbial dead horse?
Putting Ben back in the house would be a bigger ratings winner.

  7. Carole, I agree, its ridiculous that BB is not live here right where its filmed, they could just start it here at 6.00, making it live for us too.
It hasn’t been as good this year, mainly because ordinary people weren’t chosen, instead , they chose models, entertainers, actors, comedians, media personalities etc, it just wasn’t real.
That was the whole point of the show, watching ordinary people going about their day, very disappointing this year.

  8. Tickets are all sold out according to Dreamworld’s web site. Being in Brisbane, I guess I’ll just have to unplug the Internet that night 🙂

  9. Yeah, they did that task last year too, loved ones and former housemates went in, so I guess that’s why Tully will be going in. Last year Reggie and Fitzy and others went in.

I don’t know why ch 9 don’t just start Big Brother a month earlier so it will end before Daylight Savings starts. Last year the Olympics were on so they couldn’t start it any earlier. They only need to start it an hour later in Sydney and show it live here. Simple really.
