The Bachelor is now down to its final four ladies vying for the attention of chiropractor Tim Robards.
Last night home child psychologist Katherine Schmidhofer (NSW) was eliminated.
Robards told her, “I’ve enjoyed every moment that we have had together, but I’ve missed a little bit of that cheeky sensual side. I think I’ve seen glimpses of it, but not much. I don’t know if that’s maybe because you are a little guarded in this situation, but I do wish you all the best.”
“I’m a little bit shocked. I didn’t expect to go. I feel really connected to him but obviously he feels more connected to the other women. I saw myself as potentially being the last one standing,” she said.
“But if he wasn’t feeling for me what I was feeling for him, I would much rather go today than introduce him to my family.”
Her exit leaves criminal lawyer Anna [NSW], events co-ordinator Danielle [VIC], real estate agent Ali [SA] and model Rochelle [NSW] still in contention.
Last night the show pulled 649,000 viewers, down slightly on last week but managing to pip SlideShow in the same timeslot. It’s also performing well in social media, trending again last night on Twitter.
There are two 90 minute episodes coming and the finale appears likely for November 20.

Go Anna!
All reality programmes are awful!
Jezza please no. Sexuality should not be the plaything of Reality TV twists. Miriam was a bad idea and MTV tried it with Tila Tequila.
This show in its current format is set in the stone age and is cringeworthy at best on the odd occasion I have seen a snippet.
If ch10 wanted to do something a little risky or edgy, they should choose a central character (male or female) who is bisexual and then have a mixed cast……probably a bit too out there for ozzie tv…..but it sure would attract attention, unlike the current cheesy garbage
This is a really awful, awful program. No issue with the production of it, but just the concept is dreadful. It’s like a ghastly throwback to the 1950’s. All these women swooning over a man, have they no self-respect. At the US have had several seasons of The Bachelorette where the ledger gets evened up somewhat and it’s the men that do the swooning!
Our household doesn’t take it at all seriously and has a good chuckle at it. That Ali comes across as the Glenn Close of the group.
Crap reality programs like this is the reason for ten’s downfall …… I hope it doesnt come back next year … it’s just a further embarressment for ten along with all the other bad quality reality programs that has been served up to us as entertainment…..
