Nine, ABC nominated for International Broadcasting awards.

Nine's Boxing Day broadcast and ABC's kid series My Great Big Adventure are both nominated for an international broadcasting award.

2013-10-01_0947The Nine Network and the ABC have both been nominated for an Association for International Broadcasting Award.

Nine has again been nominated for its broadcast of the 2012 Boxing Day Test in the Live Sports Coverage: TV category.
This is the third year in a row Nine’s cricket broadcast has been nominated.

Also competing for the Award in that category are:
· Astro Arena – FA Cup 2013 Final
· CBC Sports – Hockey Night in Canada
· Sunset+Vine – Dubai World Cup

ABC has been nominated in the Children’s Factual Programme or Series: TV for My Great Big Adventure “Body Image” episode. it competes against entries from BBC, Bulgaria and Kazakhstan.

Winners will be announced on November 6 in London.

  1. Interesting they obviously are doing something right, still just think how better they would be if they broadcast it in HD i know it wont be far away now.
