Perfect 10 for Rhiannon Fish

Home and Away star scores the first perfect tens of the 2013 Dancing with the Stars season.

dwts10Home and Away‘s Rhiannon Fish scored perfect tens last night on Dancing with the Stars, the first clean sweep of the 2013 season.

Fish scored 40 points after dancing a Rumba with Aric Yegudukin, dedicated to her father who watched on.

“It was beautiful from start to finish,” said judge Helen Richey. Fellow judge Adam Garcia added: “It was captivating. It was magical.”

Even tough judge Todd McKenney agreed, “The whole thing was spectacular.”

However one of the surprise packages of the season is proving to be former My Kitchen Rules baddie, Sophia Pou, whose contemporary dance impressed judges. That’s a big tick to Seven’s casting team.

Meanwhile it was evergreen TV host Tony Barber who was sent home after just 3 dances.

“I enjoyed it enormously and I don’t think I’ll go,” he said.

Sorry Tony. “Stay happy and bye for now.”

  1. Rhiannon and Aric’s dance was gorgeous last night. Definitely the best of the night I think, although I really liked Steve Hooker’s dance as well – he’s surprisingly good! I didn’t think he would be, as male athletes often don’t do well on the show.

I hope Rhiannon is there at the final as she is one of the best dancers this season, and she is a really lovely person too. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her, and she is just so generous and kind to her fans, so I’m glad more people are getting to see her beautiful personality on DWTS.

  2. Really enjoying DWTS this year, most of the contestants are really good, judges all seem to be getting on better than in previous years, agree the wrong person went home last night but if the public don’t vote unfortunately one never know who will be eliminated, and a lot of the time its popularity that they vote for and not the person dance ability which is a shame.

  3. @Mr J, I agree. No clear standout at this point, but there are several very good dancers, as opposed to other seasons where there have only been a couple of good dancers to watch. Well done to the casting department. I am liking Sophia, she seems to have calmed down her persona from MKR. Rhiannon’s dance was very good, but I preferred Cosentino’s performance. I like the addition of Kym and Adam Garcia, they are both very good.

  4. I’m liking this season, no clear front runner but seems the contestants are much better at dancing than usual. It’s a 5 horse race between cos, Tina, Sophia, Steve, and Rihannon. And Sally and zac could be the ones that improve a lot and become the dark horse.

    Sophia for the win.

  5. I was really surprised and had to rewind it and watch it again . I still cannot see how it was better than most of the others. I would have given a 7. I thought that pole volter guy deserved it more.
