Second US series in development for Jason Gann

Wilfred star to feature as a bachelor seeing a therapist to understand why all of his romantic relationships fail.

2013-10-09_0147Wilfred star and co-creator Jason Gann is developing a second US show, this time with ABC Studios.

Gann will write and co-executive produce My Problem With Women, a comedy based on the popular Peruvian series of the same name.

Deadline reports the original series, produced by Jaime Carbajal and created by Frank Perez Garland, Christian Buckley and Paul Vegae, follows the adventures of a thirtysomething bachelor who begins seeing a therapist in an attempt to understand why all of his romantic relationships fail.

Also exec producing are Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory (Frasier), who will both serve as co-showrunners. Chris Philip (Siberia) also is an exec producer, Jay Weisleder and Miki Ivcher as co-exec producers.

The format has also been produced in Argentina, Israel, and Cyprus, and is currently in production in Chile.

Wilfred is heading into its fourth and final season on FXX.
