  1. Seven has been a bit erratic with when they show seasons. But once they start a season they have usually shown it all in the same slot. So no complaints.

Channel 7 did try 30 Rock in an earlier timeslot over Summer IRCC. It was critically acclaimed but never a hit in the US and unlikely to be a popular hit here.

But you never know. Nine tried Frasier twice in early slots and it failed. After showing it late at night they moved repeats to 7pm because they need to strip something to counter programme against BB on Ten. And it found a large loyal audience who stuck with it through the entire run.

I shall watch the last two eps tonight.

  2. I’m not a massive fan of the show, it’s ok but not the best to me. have watched every season, I laugh every now and then. it’s one if those shows which might take a while to get used to. still sad though, they could have had one more season I think.

  3. Don’t understand why Seven didn’t even at least try 30 Rock in an earlier time slot in the beginning. If it didn’t rate then fair enough move it, but it was never even given a chance. This seems to be a trend amongst Seven’s decent comedies as Parks & Rec has suffered a similar lack of faith…

  4. 30Rock has been treated woefully. Thank goodness for DVRs. I always record an hour either side too: just in case. I really can’t understand why it was treated so poorly, it is such a great show.
Serendipitously SBS have just started from episode one and I am going to watch it five times a week now.
