11 Comments:

  1. I notice Doctor Who made it into the multi-channel ratings.

I watched ABC News. I’ll just admit it successfully convinced me not to watch the former The 7.30 Report. I was however pretty happy watching the volcano documentary on SBS. I also watched the credits, ads afterwards, and the News Update with Ricardo Goncalves. Thank you very much. I’ll also admit I always love hearing the music of the News Update. Plus I remember when he supposedly did something humorous with the teleprompter on SBS News.

Also thank you to the ABC for Q&A. Plus Eleven for The Gates.

  2. I rarely catch Home and Away but has anyone else noticed that it’s becoming less and less relevant? Just needs a boost of energy if you ask me, or it’ll go the same way as Neighbours.

  3. With awful Paul Henry gone the two morning shows can only go up in viewer numbers IMHO.

To establish a show concept like that takes a year or longer. If viewers like it then they will possibly stay longer and that takes patience. 🙂

Paul Henry lost half the potential audience straight away because of his political bias. A host should be more neutral to succeed. Hopefully Ten have learned a hard lesson there as we all have different viewpoints and they have to be respected.

  4. Soft start for Ten’s New Morning Offerings, but it’ll grow in the Meantime, They’re a lot better than the Awful Paul Henry Fronted Breakfast last year.

  5. TygerTygerWalterWhite

David by the way, what did Today, Sunrise and the fifth Anniversary (Special?) of abc news / abc news breakfast 24 get in rating numbers please? Thanks 🙂

  6. TygerTygerWalterWhite

Hey David I can see the Wake Up numbers are similar to last years Breakfast. But I mean seriously, it ran during higher viewership hours compared to say 5:30-6:30 (early early morning) and 8:30-9:00 (taking kids to school) times. Should network ten be worried. Also don’t Mornings and the morning show average around 100,000 viewers so studio tens audience isn’t so bad? 🙂

  7. Interesting that only in Adelaide did Air Rescue rate better than Highway Patrol. I thought Big Brother would’ve hit the magic million but still good numbers.
