New David Tennant drama set for SBS
SBS picks up UK legal drama The Escape Artist starring David Tennant as a a defence lawyer asked to free the prime suspect in a murder trial.

SBS has acquired the rights to UK legal drama The Escape Artist starring David Tennant.
The plot follows a defence lawyer who specialises in winning difficult cases but finds himself in a quandary when he’s asked to use his talents to free the prime suspect in an horrific murder trial.
It also features Sophie Okonedo and Ashley Jensen.
Written by David Wolstencroft, it is expected to air as either 3×60’ or 2×90’ in 2014.
C21 reports the series was produced by Endor Productions and attracted up to 6.2 million viewers during its UK run on BBC1.
Together with Vikings and Masters of Sex and the Scandi-dramas, SBS is having a good crack at some international titles.

Yay for SBS I was just reading about this series the other day and was hoping FTA here would get it 🙂
Great. I seen some of the trailers for this. I really thought this be going onto paytv channel that BBC has, which going to miss some interesting titles, I guess buy them on dvd, when they get a released in UK.
