Recipes To Riches Finale airs next Tuesday, November 12 at 7:30pm on TEN.
In the season finale, we have eleven delicious products and eleven entrepreneurs. Which item has resonated most with Australian shoppers and will be awarded a life-changing partnership with Woolworths supermarkets plus $100,000 prize money?
The following week TEN screens a Jamie’s 15 Minute Meals repeat in the same timeslot.
Last night Ramsay Horton of Seaforth, NSW, won the week with his chicken and pork balls, Horton’s Jangles. And I’m making no jokes about that one…

I thought the croquettes were the best out of the ones I tried.
Sweet Billies had much potential but too sweet. The almond meringue biscuits I didn’t enjoy.
I did want to try the Ox tail stew but at $11.00 per box I thought it was far too dear.
This weeks episode was filled with sexual innuendo, jangles, sauce balls and sausage, pop them in your mouth, roll them around, great tasting balls… it was like a Benny Hill skit.
They are tasty balls though, I just had some for lunch :)
This show dragged on too long and the batching test is nonsense (why does the person need to produce their recipe in large quantities when there are experts who know who to do that?). I agree the early entrants have an unfair advantage … my vote goes to the smoked chilli sauce!
I liked this week’s Jangle Balls
I am sure it will be back as there is no reason for Ten to axe it @Pete. It has seen growth in sales when the show first premiered
The official line is that Woolworths are happy with the show and the cross promotion. It won’t be back next year as it failed to fire in the ratings.
If those croquettes win its going to be a total croc. Obviously the novelty of being first, higher ratings, and affordable price will have more of a impact than any genuine merit.
