2013-11-16_0043Person of Interest fans have been waiting a long time, but finally the show returns to Nine on Thursday November 28 with a double episode.

Starring Jim Caviezel and Emmy winner Michael Emerson, we pick up from the season finale for Season Two, which is still yet to be aired.

Season 2, Episode 22 – God Mode
Reese and Finch team up with some surprising allies in a race to save The Machine from a familiar, nefarious entity; and the true nature of Finch’s relationship with former partner Nathan Ingram (Brett Cullen) is revealed. Meanwhile, Carter (Taraji P. Henson) tries to bring Beecher’s (Sterling K. Brown) murderer to justice and finds herself at odds with the criminal organization HR.

Season 3, Episode 1 – Liberty
The Machine resumes giving Finch its “irrelevant” numbers for people in danger, which include a U.S. naval officer in town for Fleet Week. However, with so many sailors flooding the streets of New York City, finding the officer in time presents an even bigger challenge for Reese and Shaw (Sarah Shahi). Meanwhile, Carter has been demoted to a patrol officer as a result of her being set up by the corrupt police crime organization HR, and sets a plan in motion to eradicate them for good. Also, Root ( Amy Acker) tests the boundaries of her new asylum surroundings.

Returns 8:30pm / 9:30pm Thursday November 28 on Nine.

  1. I’m glad they’ve put it on for the other viewers. I guess I’m going to wait for the GEM repeats. I hope they remember Melbourne is behind and play those episodes. I can wait next year. I wish to thank them so much for their relative decent treatment of the show on GEM. I definitely appreciated it.

  2. Double eps – oh, goodie. I s’pose I should be grateful that Nine have finally got around to showing S3 but then I remember how they’ve previously treated the show.

Anyway, I’m committed to Masters of Sex at 9:30 so will just go with an ad-free option.

  3. Its about time it came back. At least we have something decent to watch in the silly season. That’s if 9 don’t whip it off after two episodes like they do with The Big Bang Theory

  4. If it’s like last season it probably ended with a cliff hanger. At least this way we will get to see the cliff hanger and its ending together rather than waiting over 8 months.

Thursday 8:30pm looks like a good slot for the show. Bones managed to build its audience back up to 800k earlier in the year. Though the end of the season won’t be on there once the footy shows start.

With a regular slot and decent lead in the show rated 640k at 9:30pm its peak, but must less after getting moved all over the place.

  5. Yes, great news. About bloody time ch 9. Was stupid of them to take it off with only 1 more episode to go for that season. The way it ended with all of them answering the phone and not knowing which one was the right one was so frustrating.
