15 Comments:

  1. Adam Boland has left channel 10 a great big white elephant. No-one is watching Wake Up, I am sure more people are watching some of SBS’s foreign language news programs than Wake Up.

Sad to see such a waste of money and talent, TEN would’ve been better off writing a cheque to the Salvation Army or some other good cause than pumping money into this un watched lemon…

  2. True, Sunrise did not make it to the top overnight and there were times when Today struggled, but never, I repeat never were either shows ratings anywhere near as low as these two flops.

Anyone who imagines they will still be around in 12 months time is either gullible or an extreme optimist.
The hazy cloud over Sydney is not bushfire haze, but dust from the advertisers heading for the hills. No one is going to sponsor anything that nobody is watching.

  3. I watched one Studio 10 and cant do it again. Jono and those selling segments drove me insane. He is so annoying, if I was presenting a product I would have hit Jono over the head with it. Argh.

  4. I decided to record both wake up and Studio 10 and yes there were a few issues but i don’t think its the shows that are the problem, its the network they are on. TEN have such a tarnished reputation that people are not caring for the network anymore. That is clearly shown in the fact that TEN is sitting in 4th place now behind ABC. Its going to be a long road but i hope Ten stick with them for 12 months and see if they grow. Sunrise didnt make it to the top overnight.

  5. jezza the first original one

Wake Up needs to do nothing at the moment except gradually evolve. It is a long haul, so they need time, not knee jerk, short term reactions that will undoubtedly fail…

  6. Beauty and the Geek the top rating show?
Who opened the doors of the asylum?

Fortunate that Wake Up is in a surf club. They’re all going to require resuscitation any day now.

Even that Kiwi twit rated higher.

  7. jezza the first original one

B & G was just fun tv last night and continues not to take itself too seriously which is part of the attraction. I do think that in the interests of balance that the beauties should also perform a similar task as the geeks had to do last night….
