Roz Kelly quits Nine
Nine sports reporter Roz Kelly will relocate to Cape Town to live with her fiance, South African cricketer Morne Morkel.

On the weekend it was reported Nine sports reporter Roz Kelly was quitting to  relocate to Cape Town to live with her fiance and South African cricketer, Morne Morkel.
Kelly has worked at Nine for four years and met the towering South African at the start of the year when they crossed paths in cricket circles.
“We met through work and I knew straight away he was so lovely,” she told News Corp..
“But being the only girl on the tour I always have my barriers up. Because there is just so much more scrutiny for women. I don’t like to speak to too many guys and you have to be careful.
“So he had to chase me very hard because I was being quite cold towards him.”
However she will remain on the books at Nine as a freelancer should she choose to return to Australia once Morkel retires from cricket.
“I just want to keep some of the momentum in my career going … because this has been a really hard and really emotional decision.”

Very sad to see Roz Kelly leave Channel 9.
So not the former Minister for Sport then?
Not to seem rude, but she really seemed a light-weight in sports journalism. And she looked frightfully out of place during her stints on the Today show.
