Sure some of the shows appear on FTA but most of the older shows such as Bewitched and Dad’s Army had large chunks of the episodes sliced out. It was not at all unusual for there to be only 20 minutes of a 25 minute Bewitched episode go to air and it got so bad with Dad’s Army on 7TWO that episodes no longer made sense with characters making references to events that occurred in the excised parts.

If one likes to watch those older shows, FTA isn’t the place to do it.

  2. All these shows mentioned are available on free to air tv and aLot of other shows of the same era which pay tv dosent have rights to. Why are people paying for them when they are available for free and on free tv you actually get to watch every single episode from every season the show aired, as opposed to pay tv which re runs the same episodes from the same season every single year .

  3. TVH!TS will also be coming to Fetch TV too (as well as MTV Classic staying – that’s leaving Foxtel). Will definitely be one of my favourite pay tv channels.

  4. It’s hard to imagine that people pay hard earned money for this…. Particularly as the free to air multi channels carry a good deal of the same programming, should 20-40 year old repeats be your thing.
