lmurray4Les Murray will be in Rio de Janeiro this week on Thursday FC with a wrap up of the recent 2014 FIFA World Cup Draw which saw the Socceroos draw Chile, Netherlands and Spain.

Les will give his take on what has been dubbed the ‘group of death’ for the Socceroos. Back in the studio, David Zdrilic will be joined by former Socceroo and current Sydney FC Goalkeeper coach Zeljko Kalac for their thoughts on the Socceroos’ World Cup match ups.

Billy Birmingham, aka the 12th Man, will also be in the studio with Lucy Zelic to share his thoughts on the current Ashes series and talk about his latest hit album. David Zdrilic will speak to Perth Glory captain Jacob Burns who talks about his 100th A-League appearance and Matt Okine will present his week in review.

Melbourne Heart Goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne will be live from Federation Square in Melbourne to preview the Heart’s clash with Sydney FC this weekend.

Rock band Baby Animals will be live in studio, performing the songs Email and Early Warning.

Thursday FC is football and a whole lot more.

  1. I always enjoy hearing Les Murray’s perspective on the soccer. There is no nonsense with him and he has become the voice of soccer in Australia.
    How long has it been doing it for SBS now?
