  1. those comments Gyngell made about TT facing the axe are pretty hilarious now. by that logic can we assume ACA will be axed any day now?

    someone needs to give 9 execs a talking to about knee-jerk boasting. the same thing happened after AGT had one decent rating episode before bombing to eventual axe-worthy numbers.

    Only watched the end but it was not surprising to read today that the AACTA awards rated less than 408k viewers last night.

    Ever since they changed the AFI to the AACTA, the awards have become nothing more than a bunch of professionals patting themselves on the back.

    The AACTA organisation should try and win over the ‘film enthusiasts’ and the ‘general public’ before the awards are cancelled completely.

    I have no regrets cancelling my AFI membership because of the recent changes.
