UK sitcom Vicious will premiere on 7TWO later this month, starring Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi as a gay couple who have been together for 49 years but endure a love/hate relationship.
The 2013 show has been renewed for a second season.
Freddie and Stuart host a wake to mark the passing on of a dear friend. Joined by their small circle of elderly friends, the couple manage to create a splendidly awkward evening of very little food and insults that go that bit too far. They are also joined by Freddie and Stuart’s young new neighbor Ash, whose sexuality is a point of great interest.
27 January 9:10pm on 7TWO.

I just hope the ABC do show series 2 of Halifax & soon
Totally agree with adrianguest, how Ian McKellen allowed himself to get involved in this pile of tripe is mind boggling. I could only watch 1 and a half episodes and had to give up. I’m stunned that a second season has been commissioned, just awful!

Incredible cast, the writer/producer of “Will & Grace”, what could go wrong?
Everything.
Unfunny, strained, cliched. This show is a dog. How it was commissioned for a second season is baffling.
