  1. I wish to thank the ABC for Q&A. Also to Eleven for Sleepy Hollow. I am sorry it didn’t do as well as expected. If it ends up as a show that replaces Supernatural during the next non-ratings period in Summer I would probably watch it.

I did watch the ABC News and if the government hadn’t required SBS to mess up its signal this year I would of considered watching their News on Mondays. To see if was safe to watch. Because last year it was only Sundays and Tuesdays that I didn’t like. I prefer habits and consistency. But I would be willing to try something different to avoid stuff like the story about Four Corners before it aired. Mainly because I believe that the News should be about the past. Not the future. Although I can accept a story about the PM diverting to Qld to appear on Kitchen Cabinet during an election. It is a rare exception however.

  2. cynical old codger

Are there are many like myself with bad recollections of how Network Ten treated us till they lost us.

Who now only returns to watch a few long time favourite shows, and have long since lost any hint of loyalty that may entice us to persevere and grow into to shows like ‘ Wake Up and Studio 10 ‘.

Even despite James and Joe( so I may have missed Mr Joe Co-Host Interuptus being told to “Shut Up and let me finish what ‘ I ‘ am saying” ), or if they have already done so, as any ‘one’ can ‘ tel ‘ it was like water off a Murdock’s back as Joe continually tries to exhibit a superior intellect, and jump in and finish their comments for them.
Or are the ones who give Ten their rating numbers, just hanging around to see Network 7 suffer the same fate for all the same reasons?

  3. Nah that wasn’t harsh at all. Ten knew mkr would be at 7.30 this yr! Ten know their reality was most successful @ 7pm and ten know their viewers have been asking for it for bloody ages. Ten refuses to listen. I mean against the block and mrk! Someone wasn’t thinking.

  4. Why is 7 news (Melb) copying everything that 9 news (Melb) does??Promos on the back of taxis. 9 news did it 1st and now a one hour news service, again copying 9 news.
Good luck 2 them, they will need it.
What will they do next, who wld know.

  5. We are enjoying TBL more than last year as well. I feel it is not a big rating program because many bigger sized Aussies live in denial about being overweight and smocking, so would rather not look at it. Having said that it is a good program and a valuable one and hopefully Ten persevere with it. 🙂

MKR is all put on scripted stuff but that is what people want to see like those two know it all whingers from WA. Seven is smart to do it that way as viewers clearly enjoy that. ‘

Not sure why The Block still appeals to some, it is a rubbish program and who would want to buy those properties afterwards – not me that is for sure.

  6. MKR demolished TBL in ratings. I don’t know what Channel TEN would do to their schedule.
If TBL cannot survive against MKR and The Block, then it would turn into a terrible show.

  7. I know we’re 4 months behind the US with the current series of “Revenge” but given how much Seven hyped it up, I was expecting no less than 1.5M viewers. And yes, I’m aware of the fact that anything above 1M is good.

The ratings for “My Kitchen Rules” are insanely enormous. The show is officially a machine.

    Well done Channel Seven.

  8. What happened to ‘Million Dollar Minute’?

Am enjoying MKR-interesting characters, and tonight should be a cracker-those WA girls better be able to cook, or they may as well immagrate.
