  1. I know it will most likely never happen, but I lie in wait for Showcase being a single-purchase channel at some point – without paying for the full package.

  2. Excellent news, I was contemplating to get the movie channel for 3 months but the cost was a little steep…at $10 a months it is a bargain and I may just do it! $30 to watch GOT, fast tracked and in HD bargain!

So if you are an existing Platinum customer with the IQHD you don’t get the $10.00 off, unless you cancel the Movies service and rejoin in a months time.

  4. Wow actually giving a discount to existing customers… I wasn’t sure if they knew how to do that… I do have to wonder how they know for sure people aren’t just going to change over for the discount even if they aren’t watching GoT?

  5. Giving the discount to existing customers is novel.

Usually subscribers pay increasing fees on locked in contracts while watching new subscribers get massive discounts. Which probably doesn’t help Foxtel’s churn figures.
